Our representative will be waiting for you at the airport to welcome you. After a brief rest, in the afternoon, we will start our tour by visiting the Cathedral and the famous Santo Domingo Convent. We will then continue our interesting visit to the archaeological complexes of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, and Tambomachay
Overnight in Cusco
In the morning, we will leave Cusco to explore the cradle of the Inca Empire, known as the Sacred Valley. We will stop at the traditional town of Pisaq to visit its artisanal market and the enigmatic archaeological complex. We will have lunch in Urubamba at a well-known tourist restaurant and then reach Ollantaytambo, which boasts its own unique Inca sites and agricultural terraces. We will spend the night in Ollantaytambo, preparing for another day of incredible adventure.
Overnight in Ollantaytambo
The 2-day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is an awe-inspiring experience, perfect for those who want to combine adventure and culture. The hike starts at km 104, passing through archaeological sites like Chachabamba and Wiñay Wayna, surrounded by lush nature and Andean landscapes. Along the way, you will cross cloud forests, Inca agricultural terraces, and spectacular valley views. At the end of the day, we will reach the Sun Gate (Inti Punku), offering a magical view of Machu Picchu. We will then take the tourist bus to Aguas Calientes, where we will check into the hotel and rest.
Accomodation in Aguas Calientes
After breakfast, we will head to the bus station to ascend the mountain and reach the Machu Picchu archaeological site, where our guide will show us the most important and highlighted areas of the Historic Sanctuary. We will then return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where we will have lunch and explore the town. At the indicated time, we will board the train that will take us to the Ollantaytambo station. Our transportation will be waiting for us to return to Cusco.
Overnight in Cusco
The Maras and Moray circuit is a fascinating excursion that combines history, agricultural engineering, and unique landscapes in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The tour begins in Maras, famous for its ancient salt mines, where hundreds of salt pools, exploited since pre-Inca times, stretch across the mountainside, creating a stunning landscape. The Moray complex awaits us with impressive circular terraces, which the Incas apparently used as an agricultural laboratory to experiment with different crops and microclimates. After the tour, we will return to Cusco for lunch and rest.

Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca)

The journey typically begins with a visit to Andahuaylillas, a church known as the "Sistine Chapel of America" for its impressive frescoes. Then, you'll explore the archaeological site of Raqchi, home to the imposing Temple of Wiracocha, a large Inca religious structure.
Later, you’ll stop at La Raya, the highest point of the route (4,335 meters), offering panoramic views of the Andes and the border between Cusco and Puno. Finally, you’ll visit Pukara, famous for its pottery and pre-Inca culture, before arriving in the city of Puno on the shores of Lake Titicaca.

• Appropriate clothing: Bring warm clothing, as temperatures in Puno are often cold, especially at night. It’s also useful to wear comfortable clothing for the day and appropriate footwear for walking.
• Hydration and snacks: Stay well-hydrated during the journey and bring light snacks, as the trip can take around 6-8 hours by bus.
• Altitude sickness prevention: Carry coca leaves, candies, or medications like acetazolamide, which can help prevent or alleviate altitude sickness.
• Currency and cash: Bring some cash in soles, as it may be difficult to find ATMs or places that accept cards at some points along the route.

Uros Floating Islands
