This tour has been designed for those who want to experience much more than the traditional Humantay Lake. Before starting the hike to the lake, we will visit the archaeological complex of Tarawasi, built during the reign of the Inca Pachacutec as an administrative and ceremonial center, and later Killarumiyoq, considered one of the main sanctuaries dedicated to the worship of the moon and fertility. Finally, we will continue to Soraypampa, from where we will start the hike to the majestic Humantay Lake, famous for its turquoise waters and the stunning landscape dominated by the Humantay snow-capped peak.

Start your adventure with a direct pick-up from your hotel in Cusco's historic center before boarding our comfortable tourist transport towards the scenic Mollepata district.

Discover the Killarumiyoq Ceremonial Center
We continue our route to Killarumiyoq, a mystical temple dedicated to the worship of the Moon (Quilla). Marvel at its sacred rock-carved altars and soak in the serene mountain atmosphere of this privileged natural setting.
Trekking from Soraypampa to the Majestic Humantay Lake
Arriving at the Soraypampa campsite, we begin our trek to Humantay Lake. We will ascend for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes until reaching this breathtaking turquoise mountain lake, dramatically framed by the snow-capped Humantay and Salkantay peaks.
Enjoy free time to rest, connect with nature, and capture unforgettable photographs of the high Andes.
Buffet Lunch
Hike back down to the restaurant to indulge in a nourishing buffet lunch featuring a variety of local Peruvian and international options.
Return to Cusco City
After a full day of ancient history, rich culture, and breathtaking landscapes, we begin our return journey to Cusco.
