Detailed Itinerary: Day by Day
DAY 1:
Lima - Lunahuana - Lima
Pick-up will take place from three meeting points between 04:15 a.m. and 05:00 a.m. approximately. We will begin our journey to Lunahuaná in comfortable tourist transportation.
Our first stop will be the Cerro Azul beach resort in Cañete, where we will have a beautiful view of the area. Here you will also have the option to enjoy basic-level rafting and ATV rides (optional), as well as time for shopping.
We will continue our journey and visit Incahuasi, where you will receive an explanation about the site and enjoy views of this historic location. Afterwards, we will arrive in Lunahuaná, where we will visit the main church, the main square, and the San Juan viewpoint. You will then have free time for lunch. Our guide will recommend some local restaurants where you can enjoy the best dishes of the region. Some of the most emblematic dishes include Sopa Seca Lunahuaneña, Arroz con Pato from the valley, trout from Nor Yauyos, and shrimp prepared in different styles such as chupe, spicy shrimp, grilled on stone, garlic shrimp, and fried shrimp.
After lunch, you will have the opportunity to participate in optional activities such as canopy (zipline) or rafting. At 2:00 p.m., we will begin a city tour through the valley, visiting the following places:
- Catapalla Village
- Hanging Bridge
- Beekeeping Center
- Main Square
- Colonial Church
- Urban area of Lunahuaná
During the tour, you will also enjoy tastings of honey, bee pollen, and other local products. We will also visit a local winery (vineyard) where you will have the opportunity to taste different varieties of wines and pisco. At the end of this adventure, we will return to Lima in tourist transportation
