Suggestions by Region and Season

For the Coast (Ex. Lima, Ica, Nazca)
In the coast, during the months of December to March, the temperatures are very high, which is why it is recommendable to bring light clothing, perhaps sportswear, sneakers, swimwear, etc, but from the months of April to November, the Peruvian coast is humid with low temperatures and frequent drizzle. During this time, you should bring some sweaters and jackets and a raincoat.
For the Mountainous Region (Ex. Cusco, Arequipa, Puno)
During the months of April to November the days are sunny and the nights are very cold, with temperatures dipping below 0°C, it is recommended to wear light clothing for the day, and for the nights to wear jackets or vests, if you visit these places between November and April is convenient to wear thermal and a raincoat because you don't know when it's going to rain. Between the months of December to March, the days are rainy which you should bring with you a raincoat or waterproof coat and jacket. Keep in mind that as well as UV radiation which is quite elevated in the cities such as Cusco and Arequipa, use sunblock.
For the Jungle (Ex. Puerto Maldonado, Tambopata, Iquitos)
Wear light clothing, hats, and maybe boots for trails in the jungle. The necessary also is insect repellent.
Travel by Bus
Trips by bus can be by roads which cross the Andean range, reaching more than 4000 meters above sea level, for which it is recommendable to bring a jacket or additional blanket. Also some pills to avoid altitude sickness.
