Rurrenabaque is located in Jose Ballivian Province in Beni department, Bolivia. Rurrenabaque is a small town in the north of Bolivia on the Beni river. Every year on February 2 the people remenbers the Rurrenabaque's holiday in honoring to the Virgen of Candelaria, the cultural activities that this holiday includes it is a representative of the región; Cockfight, bullfight, career of horses, etc. In recent year it has come popular with international tourism (ecotourism) as it is an aesy gateway for visits to Madidi National Park (Bolivian rainforest) as well as the surrounding Pampas.
